When video helps

  • A product demo next to the product's catalogue page.
  • A welcome message on the first page of a report or proposal.
  • A walkthrough beside step-by-step instructions.

Add a video

  1. Step 1: Get the video link

Copy the share link from YouTube or Vimeo, or the direct link to a hosted MP4, WebM, OGG or MOV file.
  2. Step 2: Choose Add element → Media

Open the page in the Content tab, choose Add element and pick Media.
  3. Step 3: Draw the video area

Click and drag where the video should appear. A 16:9 shape suits most videos.
  4. Step 4: Switch to video and paste the link

Set the media type to video and paste your link into Video URL.
  5. Step 5: Preview

Use the preview view to play it as a visitor would, then publish.

Linking to a video instead

If you'd rather open the video on its own site, use a Link or Button / CTA pointing to the video page instead.
