Part 1: copy your embed code from HB Flipbook

  1. Step 1: Publish the flipbook

The embed only shows your flipbook once it's published.
  2. Step 2: Open Share → Embed

In the editor, go to the Share tab and select Embed.
  3. Step 3: Choose a size

Leave Responsive on to fit the width of the space you paste it into, or turn it off and set a fixed Width and Height.
  4. Step 4: Adjust the reader

Choose the Start page, Viewer mode, background, corners and which controls appear. The Live Preview updates as you go.
  5. Step 5: Copy Embed Code

Press Copy Embed Code. Your settings are saved with the publication.

Part 2: add it in the block editor

  1. Step 1: Edit the page or post

Open it in the WordPress block editor.
  2. Step 2: Add a Custom HTML block

Click the + inserter, search for “Custom HTML” and add the block.
  3. Step 3: Paste the embed code

Paste the code from HB Flipbook into the block.
  4. Step 4: Preview

Use the block's Preview toggle, or preview the page, to check the flipbook loads.
  5. Step 5: Update or publish

Save the page. Your flipbook is now part of it.

Classic Editor and page builders

In the Classic Editor, paste into the Text tab. In page builders, use their HTML or code widget. The code itself is the same everywhere.

After it's embedded

Edits you make to the flipbook in HB Flipbook show up in the embed automatically. If you change embed settings such as size or controls, copy the new code and replace the old one. Views from embedded readers are counted in your flipbook views.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a WordPress plugin?

No. There's no HB Flipbook plugin; the Custom HTML block that comes with WordPress is all you need.

WordPress removed part of my code.

Some WordPress setups — including certain WordPress.com plans and user roles — remove scripts or iframes. Try the fixed-size embed (Responsive off), and check with your site administrator or host.

I use the Classic Editor.

Switch to the Text (HTML) tab and paste the code there rather than into the Visual tab.

Does it work with page builders?

Most page builders have an HTML or code widget; paste the same code into that.
