A PDF attachment asks something of the person receiving it: download the file, open it in whatever reader they happen to have, and hope the file size gets through. Large attachments get blocked or ignored, the document is static once sent, and broad distribution means sending the same file over and over.

An online flipbook opens from a web link. It reads in the browser, works on a phone, is easy to share or embed, and can be updated or unpublished after you've sent it.
