How to Share a Flipbook

Short answer

Open your published flipbook in HB Flipbook and go to the Share tab. From there you can copy a link, download a QR code, copy embed code for your website, or post straight to LinkedIn, Facebook, X or Pinterest.

Where sharing lives

Every publication has a Share tab in the editor, called the Share Center. It has four sections: Link, QR Code, Embed and Social. The flipbook needs to be published before any of these work for other people.

Share a link

  1. Step 1: Open the Share tab

Open the publication from your Publications list and select Share.
  2. Step 2: Pick a link type

Choose Clean reader link for a distraction-free reader, or Website page link for your publication page on the HB Flipbook site.
  3. Step 3: Optional: start on a page

Turn on Start at current page to open the flipbook at a particular page — useful for pointing someone to a price list or a single article.
  4. Step 4: Copy Link

Paste it into an email, a message, a social post or your email signature.

Share with a QR code

The QR Code section creates a code for the same link. Download it and add it to printed materials, signage, packaging or slides so people can open the flipbook on their phone.

The Social section has one-click buttons for LinkedIn, Facebook, X / Twitter and Pinterest. Each opens that network's own share window with your link filled in.

Put it on your website instead

To show the flipbook inside your own page rather than linking away, use the Embed section. The embedding guide walks through the options.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the two link types?

The Clean reader link opens just your flipbook, with no HB Flipbook website around it. The Website page link opens your publication page on the HB Flipbook site, with its details.

Can I send someone to a specific page?

Yes. On the Link tab, turn on Start at current page and the copied link opens at the page you choose.

Does the link change if I edit the flipbook?

No. Edits apply to the same link. The link only changes if you change the URL slug on the Settings tab.

Why is the Share tab saying Publish to activate?

Links only work for other people once the flipbook is published. Press Publish first.
